EE Czech Republic

The Czech Republic has a very rich Christian heritage – with the Czech Reformation in 15th century (Jan Hus) followed by global impact of the Moravian Church (Jan Amos Komenský). In the 17th century, strong re-catholicization of the country came. Communist rule from 1947 to 1989 left a lasting impact, and most of the population considers itself atheist now. There are only about 325 evangelical local churches with some 35,000 members in 10 million inhabitants. So there is a vast need and many opportunities for evangelism.

Evangelism Explosion Czech Republic desires to foster and be a part of a national revival for this country. They are actively working to establish an EE model church in all of the 14 regions and recruiting Implementation Fieldworkers (IFWs). They achieve this goal of personal evangelism by offering specialized training for every age group. Some of the programs include Hope For Kids, XEE, Share Your Faith, and Classic EE.
